A desperate plea from LeBron James to his Lakers teammates.

LeBron James doesn't want any kind of distraction to derail the Los Angeles Lakers' progress, as they still have a lot of work to do.Before the home stretch of the NBA season,

Rob Pelinka and the Los Angeles Lakers executive staff went into overdrive to reshape the squad.  Time is running out, so they can't afford to kick back and relax. They have a

better fit with this roster surrounding their star players. It also fits well with the brand of basketball that new head coach Darvin Ham has been working to build in Southern

California. The remodeled Lakers have started off well. It's clear that LeBron James is thrilled to be playing with his new teammates, since they are well matched to take advantage of

James' skillset.Even though the NBA will be on hiatus for the rest of the season owing to the All-Star break, James has urged his team to maintain their focus and not let their

guard down because they still have the most important part of the season to play.We still have a lot of work to do, James added. "Every game will be challenging for us, especially

after a stretch. We are aware of the kind of push we need to make. I want the men to take a break, but I don't want them to become completely removed from the situation because we

want to come back and try to continue this."So, you know, don't go crazy in Vegas and try to fit a week's worth of partying into one night. They need to rest, gather themselves,

and prepare for the stretch run ahead because they aren't guaranteed a playoff berth.
