Damian Lillard's Farewell: NBA's Blockbuster Trade Revealed! 

The Portland Trail Blazers have traded seven-time All-Star guard Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks in a three-team trade involving the Phoenix Suns.

Lillard expressed his excitement for the next chapter in his career in a social media post.

He also released a single titled "Farewell" in which he bid goodbye to his time in Portland and thanked the fans for their support.

Lillard had requested a trade from the Trail Blazers in July, expressing his desire to play for the Miami Heat.In the trade, the Trail Blazers

 will acquire point guard Jrue Holiday and future draft picks from Milwaukee, along with center Deandre Ayton and forward Toumani Camara from Phoenix.

The Phoenix Suns will receive center Jusuf Nurkic, forward Nassir Little, and guard Keon Johnson from Portland, as well as guard Grayson Allen from 

Milwaukee. Portland's General Manager Joe Cronin expressed gratitude to Damian Lillard for his 11-year tenure with the franchise and highlighted

 his contributions both on and off the court.Lillard, known for his loyalty to the Portland community, holds the franchise record for all-time leading 

points scorer. The trade marks the end of Lillard's era in Portland, where he was drafted in 2012 and won the NBA Rookie of the Year award in

 the 2012/13 season. Lillard, who averaged 25.2 points, 6.7 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game during his time in Portland, 

had his best scoring season last year, averaging 32.2 points in 58 games.
