One of the NFL's starting quarterbacks is probably out for the year

playoff lives in the AFC South. It seems likely that Tennessee's starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill will be out for some time.

A report from Titans insider Paul Kuharsky suggeststhat Tannehill may need surgery and may be out for the remainder of the season.

A number of reliable sources have reported that Ryan Tannehill's season is over after

he suffered a second injury to his right ankle in Sunday's loss to the Chargers in Los Angeles.When Tannehill first sprained his ankle on Oct. 23 against the Colts,

he missed two games. On Sunday against the Chargers, he was injured as he scrambled out of the pocket and sprinted for a yard,

severely rolling his ankle. He managed to miss only one episode.The loss of Tannehill would be devastating to the team's postseason hopes,

even if rookie quarterback Malik Willis can lead them to the postseason.if Malik Willis, a rookie quarterback, can lead them to victory.
