Stroud also claims that the Bucs spoke with Gronkowski multiple times around Thanksgiving when things were at their worst.

Even before he was activated, the team was eager to add him to the practise squad so he could become familiar with the offence.

While that plan ultimately failed, there's still hope that the two parties can come to an agreement for the upcoming 2023 campaign.
