A new house for a quarterback from Texas.Pete Thamel of ESPN reports that Hudson Card has made the move to Purdue. Earlier in the day, he made a commitment to head

coach Ryan Walters. After submitting his information on the transfer portal three weeks ago, Card has finally heard back.

Two games into the 2021 season, he was the starting quarterback. He then became Casey Thompson's backup.

Since Aidan O'Connell filed for the 2023 NFL Draft less than two weeks ago, he will now transfer to a Purdue programme where he has a good chance of being the starting quarterback.

Card was a four-star quarterback in the 2020 recruiting class and the seventh-best player in his home state of Texas

according to 247Sports' composite rankings before he committed to Texas. In addition, he was the 59th best recruit in the country.
