The NBA community responds to the Warriors' historic announcement

The Golden State Warriors have been the best team in the NBA for the past decade. Since the start of the 2014–15 season, the team has won six Western Conference titles and

four NBA titles. Additionally, Golden State won the NBA title in the 2021–22 season, making them the most recent champions. The departure of a key member of the group is

possible, though. Not Draymond Green, and certainly not any other player. Those winning squads were assembled by Bob Myers, president of basketball operations and general manager.

However, his status with the Warriors is uncertain going forward. "Myers' contract is believed to expire at the end of June," ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski said on Saturday.

The team's owner and CEO, Joe Lacob, was quoted by Wojnarowski as saying, "We love Bob and hope he is here for a long time." However, it was also noted in the report that

discussions of an extension "look to be on hiatus."Many heads were turned in the NBA community as a result of this news. With Lacob and Peter Guber at the helm,

Golden State has rarely had financial problems, but that might change if this issue drags on. Myers should soon receive a substantial salary,

whether he plays for the Warriors or not. Myers would have no shortage of admirers if he ever decided to leave the Golden State Warriors, and that is saying something.
